• Salary: Pro-rata salary based on the Outer London Teachers' Pay Scales (MPS/UPS).

The Role

• The successful Biology Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Biology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level).
• You will be immediately supported by a highly effective mentor and integrated into a collaborative Science team to ensure a smooth transition during the cover period.
• The Biology Teacher is expected to contribute to the department's focus on deep conceptual understanding and rapid student progress in practical and theoretical biology.
• This maternity cover role requires a committed Biology Teacher to maintain the department's exceptional outcomes.
• The school is seeking a skilled and experienced Biology Teacher who is ready to assume responsibility quickly, including running complex laboratory sessions.

Requirements

• Holds QTS
• Has the right to work in the UK
• Experience teaching KS3/4 and or KS5
