A well-established and forward-thinking secondary school in Stafford is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join its successful Science Department. This is a full-time, permanent role suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering high-quality science education.

The RoleThe successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential Key Stage 5 teaching depending on specialism and experience. Responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum and examination specifications.
Encouraging curiosity, analytical thinking, and scientific investigation.
Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting strong academic outcomes.
Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress.
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning.
Supporting enrichment activities such as STEM clubs and science competitions.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism desirable).
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
