QC Microbiologist - Permanent Role (Early Shift)
Location: Alton, Hampshire
Shift: Permanent early shift, 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday
£27,000 - £33,000 plus company Bonus

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare company for a Microbiologist to join their QC Laboratory team. This laboratory-based role is key to ensuring the quality and safety of raw materials, bulk, and finished products through microbiological and environmental testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform microbiological testing of water, raw materials, bulk, and finished products.
Carry out environmental testing across the facility.
Release materials and products following QC approval.
Support physical testing of bulk and finished products.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and Health & Safety standards.

Requirements:

Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related science-based subject.
Practical experience in microbiological testing techniques.
Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
Experience in GLP/GMP environments is desirable.

This is a permanent role with a structured early shift, ideal for candidates who enjoy a laboratory-focused role within a supportive healthcare environment.
