We are working with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" secondary school in Brent recruiting for a Biology ECT. The school is a designated Science Hub, offering a world-class induction for early career teachers within a high-tech laboratory setting.

The Role You will teach Biology across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to support A-Level Biology practicals. The role is designed around the Early Career Framework, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive load theory and retrieval practice. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering inquiry-based Science lessons in specialist labs

• Working with a dedicated Mentor to observe and refine classroom management

• Using diagnostic assessment tools to track and accelerate student progress

• Leading STEM-related extracurricular projects and Science fairs

• Participating in weekly "Expert-Led" pedagogy seminars
